04 Common Scams Using Agency Names#
In short
Most scams are fake job or task offers, fake invoices, impersonated social accounts or offers to buy fake reviews.
Fake job and task scams
A 'recruiter' offers easy paid tasks, like rating products, then asks you to pay a deposit to release earnings.
Fake invoices
An invoice arrives with new bank details, often timed to look like a genuine payment due date.
Impersonated social accounts
A profile copies our name and logo to approach clients or candidates with offers.
Fake review offers
Someone offers to boost your reviews or rankings for a fee, using our name for credibility.
05 What to Do If You Were Contacted#
In short
Stop contact, pay nothing, keep the evidence, and report it to us, the authorities and your bank.

06 Fraud FAQs#
In short
Quick answers to the questions people ask most when a message looks suspicious.
Is this job offer from Shamrock real?
A real offer comes from an @shamrockmarketing.agency address after an interview with named team members, and matches a role on our Careers page. Offers made only by WhatsApp, Telegram or text are not from us.
Do you charge candidates fees?
No. We never charge candidates for applications, training, equipment or tasks, and we pay for practical tasks over two hours.
How do I verify an invoice?
Check that it comes from our domain, matches your proposal and uses bank details we confirmed at the start of the engagement. If anything has changed, call your usual contact before paying.
Where do I report a fake profile?
Report it to the platform it appears on and to us at security@shamrockmarketing.agency, with a screenshot and the profile link.
